I wasn't real excited about this lens when i heard about it, but these MTF charts look pretty darn strong. Definitely looks like an upgrade to the current 16-35. Can't wait to see some reviews.

The MTF charts definitely show marked improvement over the current F2.8 version, and a $500 lower price is always good too.
