I am new with this kind of setup. I just got my adapter for connecting Canon Rebel T3 to Celestron. I am disappointed that my moon picture comes out as a light bulb. I tried compensation to -4Ev and no luck. I want to get this working tonight to get a clear shot of moon. thks

The moon is a surface with the direct reflection of the sun. Low ISO and corresponding F stop will do it.

Above is a 'Search' click it and enter 'moon shots'

Are you using a T adapter and connecting your camera body directly to the telescope using it as your lens? Do not use Auto anything. Put body in Manual, ISO 100, start with a shutter of 1/500 and see what you get. Adjust from there. Use live view and zoom the LCD image to get a sharp focus with the telescope. Good Luck!

Hi everyone. I was busy and determined to get my equuipment working that I did not check back here.

But.....GOOD NEWS......I GOT IT

Exposure compensation and using Canon rebel T3 in M (manual focus mode) fided the proble. I had a 75-300mm Lense from Canon and I did not know how to use it. After researching , I found a video on Youtube and started taking pictures. I also used the Celestron travel telescope and got some good pictures. Attached is my latest photos from last night.

Thank you all for your advise.
