MARCROMATIC Here Hi you all . I'm relatively new to this great web site! I love learning about photography and veiwing all your photos. I have a panasonic lumix FZ28 does anyone have this or a similar camera that can give me some tips on it? Ive read the book and have been using it aprx. 2 years. Like some other new comers I dont know how to post a photo. Has anyone herd of photo impact 12 ? Is this a good editing program? I would appreciate any feedback.

You probably can download the manual if you don't have it.

I have another Panasonic (DMC-ZS7) and recently passed on my previous one to my son. The software on them shows a strong family resemblence with the new one an obvious enhancement.

Do you have specific questions?

I see the one I gave to my son was a couple year earlier version of the one you have. Super camera!

I use Photo Impact Pro and Yes its a good program. it has many of the same features and similar commands to PhotoShop elements that you'll hear alot about too.
you can definitely do all you need to do and grow into the Photo Impact program.

The books that accompany Panasonic cameras are mere tokens of a user's guide. Go to the Panasonic site>Support for your camera and download the Operator's Manual (not the User's Manual). They are in .pdf format and can be downloaded to your handheld devices, such as Kindle, iPad or iPhone.

I spend a session each morning in bed with my FZ150 and a netbook with the 150's manual. Time well invested!

Why is the aperature settings so limited on the DMCFZ28?
Is there a physical aperature or is fstop controled by lens tricks? I'm glad to know about the downloadable manual. Thanks for your reply.

It goes only to f8! Maybe they found diffraction affected the image at anything smaller than f8? It's a 4.8 to 86mm lens, quite a range- that may be the limiting factor.
