I took some close ups and\or macros through water drops with a Nikon D90 and Nikon AF-S Micro Nikkor 105mm 1:2.8G ED lens. The settings: speed 1/200; ISO 200 and between f/16 and f/22, and an old Yashica CS-221 flash with a diffuser.
