We had a visitor today at our outing. A 5 foot Black Racer. I had a little problem trying to focus, and frame him he was moving on @ about 10 MPH.

I had one living under my garden cart, which I quickly named Mr. Longtail (what else do you name a snake?). It was always unnerving when he would be sunbathing on the top and would go shooting off of there at 100 miles an hour. We soon came to an understanding. If he would just lay still, I would go the other way. :)

substantial image considering the velocity these critters move about. They do not call them RACERS for no reason. Great pets though when kept with a full belly
