It was his first trip to the US, so his cousin was happy to take him to a baseball game. He quickly caught on. When the player at bat hit the ball, he saw everyone jump to their feet and yell "Run! Run!" He joined in the fun. After a while a player came to bat. The pitcher pitched. Nothing. He pitched again. Nothing. And again. And yet again. The player at bat tossed the bat down and headed for first base. The Scotsman jumped to his feet and yelled: "Run!". His cousin grabbed his sleeve and said - "No - he got four balls, so he walks". The Scotsman thought about that for a second, then jumped up and yelled: "Walk with PRIDE, Laddie - Walk with PRIDE!"
