Well I do not use any pesticides, fertilizers, etc. at all.. The yard isn't the prettiest in the neighbor hood, but it is topped by grass, dandylions and creeping charlie... I love them all.... haha..

I cut way back and this year to no chemicals at all. I pluck the dandelions and cut the grass. Doesn't look bad if plenty of rain. We have to get away from placing carcinogens on our yards then have them flow to the streams where we get our drinking water.
