High winds from the east blowing over the mountains produce some cool clouds
Lenticular, I believe. Dangerous to pilots.

Agree. These are lenticulars which form as moist air rises over mountains and the moisture condenses into "formed clouds".
Very interesting shapes can occur.
Typically Lenticulars form on the leeward side of mountains but on a high wind day I saw some form over my local county. We are not high in altitude but we have sharp hilly rises that make us the "buckle" of the snow belt. Good shots!
