I went and took a few photos at a civil war encampment today, a"36" Ford rolled in as I was leaving. I would call it a good day...
YAY!!! <clap, clap, clap> These are very cool...I'm so a favorite of sepia toned photos.
What a MAGNIFICIENT Ford...you did it justice.
Thank you!
Nice, Very nice! They are all great!
Great shots! Love the old time processing, they look as if you pulled them from an antique trunk in the attic. That old Ford brought back teenage memories. Neighbor had one in near perfect condition in the late 50's. She was in her early 80's and couldn't drive any more. The car was sitting in her driveway. I went over there and asked if I could buy it. She said she would think about it. The next day one of her family moved the car to the street and parked it along the curb. When I went by later some S.O.B. ass ended it and pushed the trunk into the back seat. So much for that Ford.

Thank you everyone for the comments, some of these reenactors want their images done the old way with wet plates, and then put on tins.
I don't think I want to get involved with hauling around that much equipment, or the flash powder.
the car was beautiful, would love to have it for some weddings gigs.

Oooooo, I've seen some photos printed on tin. It's very cool stuff. Your sepia pix would print well on tin. (BTW...love the guy sleeping.) I have an old wagon wheel shot that has won three competitions...since I have retired the photo, I'm thinking of printing it on tin with a barn siding frame.
