and these cherry tomatoes were just picked this morning. Hopefully the bigger tomatoes and squash will be equally forthcoming.

I'm sure these wouldnt make it to the salad bowl at my house. They look delicious. Cant beat fesh from the vine!

Most of the time they don't make it into the colander here. It is so easy to eat them while I am picking. I sometimes do that with the few strawberries but normally I just save the strawberries for my 6 year old granddaughter. I can buy strawberries for me but it is nice to grow them for her.

I always hated cats until years ago. I moved to a ranch and needed 2 cats to catch mice. At the same time I acquired 2 dogs. They all were about the same age and I grew to love the 2 cats, a brother and sister. The male strutted all over the house and property thinking it was his kingdom. The female pranced all over the house and property (180 acres). They are lucky they weren't eaten by coyotes but they had the 2 dogs to protect them. They all lasted about 18 years. With each one gone came a lot of sobbing on my part.

Thanks Dennis. My Avatar cat is Annie. She was born in the wood pile behind my garage 2 years ago. She adopted us and is a big part of the family now. She lives in the garage and will not come into the house. Garage is big and heated so she has it pretty good.
