The Lincoln National Cemetery, which is the second largest National Cemetery in the system, is located ten miles South of Joliet, IL. in the town Of Elwood, IL. Its 982 acres were once part of the Joliet Arsenal up until 1999 when President Clinton formally dedicated it as a burial ground for veterans.
I went there yesterday on a warm sunny day to view my final resting place and take some shots while there. I think I will like it there. I hope you like my shots and thanks for looking. Your comments are always appreciated.
YOUR PHOTOS ARE GREAT..I was there just after it opened...a very reverned place
