These are all great, but espcially the Cascades! I think that is nearly as perfect as a waterfall photo could get! Here is my humble contribution to the thread:

I'm gonna google this one. I could drive there in a day.

No bridge, on top of a rock outcrop. Its a medium format film shot with a Pentax 645, 150mm F2.8 lens. Its over 1000 feet down to the river from where this shot was taken.

Sure thing Nikonian72. I was so excited about Picasa I forgot to include the specs. All were shot with d3000 in late afternoon.

#1 18-55 lens. F25. 0.76sec. Iso 100. Wb cloudy. Sp mode

#2. 55-200 lens. F32. 6sec. Iso 100. Wb cloudy. Ap mode

#3. 55-200 lens. F20. 1.6 sec. Iso 100. Wb cloudy. Ap mode

I normally use ap mode to shoot waterfalls cause if I push it up as far as it will go I have the slowest shutter I can get. I can come down a bit if it is slow moving water. I use a tripod and a polarizing filter to cut reflection. As for efixes, I am just learning that. All I can say is I push those slidey things until it looks right! I think I mostly added fill light and vignette on 1 and 3.

You don't realize how large that fall is until you spot the little on top!
