The American Dream ended ( on that November 6th ) in Ohio.
The second term of Barack Obama will be the final nail in the coffin for the legacy of the white Christian males who discovered, explored, pioneered, settled and developed the greatest Republic in the history of mankind.
A coalition of Blacks, Latinos, Feminists, Gays, Government Workers, Union Members, Environmental Extremists, The Media, Hollywood, uninformed young people, the "forever needy," the chronically unemployed, illegal aliens and other "fellow travelers" have ended Norman Rockwell's America.
The Cocker Spaniel is off the front porch
The Pit Bull is in the back yard.
The American Constitution has been replaced with Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" and Chicago shyster, David Axelrod, along with international Socialist George Soros will be pulling the strings on their beige puppet to bring us Act 2 of the New World Order.
Our side ran two candidates who couldn't even win their own home states, and Chris Christie helped Obama over the top with a glowing "post Sandy" tribute that elevated the "Commander-in-Chief" to Mother Teresa status.
( Aside: with the way the polls were run, he didn't need any help! )
People like me are completely politically irrelevant, and I will never again comment on or concern myself with the aforementioned coalition which has surrendered our culture, our heritage and our traditions without a shot being fired.
You will never again out-vote these people.
It will take individual acts of defiance and massive displays of civil disobedience to get back the rights we have allowed them to take away.
It will take Zealots, not moderates & shy not reach-across-the-aisle RINOs to right this ship and restore our beloved country to its former status.
Those who come after us will have to risk their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to bring back the Republic that this generation has timidly frittered away due to "white guilt" and political correctness.

And just when things seemed to moving in the right direction. People who create a crisis for money and power are never a good thing no matter how much they spew the "Hope and Change" crap!

Yep. Emancipation, women's rights, the Civil Rights movement, the Peace Corps, equality in access to education, freedom to worship...
Those struggles are the "America" portrayed by Norman Rockwell in the plantings I posted. The aspirations of those left behind or suffering persecution have been "enabled" by the Federal government. Yes. And those movements have often been opposed by people who are largely white, male, and Christian, in the name of preserving "their" country.

Tell it! I am old enough to remember life in the South of the US before the Civil Rights era. The atrocities visited upon the African Americans in the south were perpetrated by the white, male, largely Christian "patriots" whose loss of power that rancid original post mourns. And that fool writer seems to endorse violence to restore the old order. Who is he, some League of the South fool who would repeal the 20th century and return us to the days of chattel slavery?
If you find yourself going down the wrong road, being progressive only gets you further down the wrong road. If you are on the wrong road, the only sane course is to back up and find the right road.
It reminds me of the current Cromwell and his roundheads yammering about "hope and Change," as if change, by itself, was somehow a good thing.

And what exactly have you fixed? I'm sure not seeing it.

Voting rights for women, and for Blacks in the South; child labor outlawed; Social Security, unemployment insurance, farm credit, rural electrification programs; consumer safety protection; workplace safety standards; Land Grant colleges and agricultural research programs; public transportation infrastructure: universal pubic education; public water and sewer systems; the National Parks, and other actions to protect the natural environment; the Postal Service; housing health and safety standards...
All of those were, and still are, opposed to one extent or another by conservatives.
I am reminded of that quote from a Monty Python film:
"All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh-water system, and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?"

Sorry Mike, I just don't agree that all of this is opposed by conservatives.
