Caught NKP 765 operating employee special heading east from Elkhart, IN. to Bryan, OH. and back. Caught her crossing the Elkhart River Saturday May 3, 2014

Then her westbound return trip in Millersburg, IN. about 4 hours latter.

Hey! Love these! Well, what's not to love? Kind of like taking pictures of puppies or kittens. I guess you need to be a train freak! :)

Seriously, well, done. I can't decide if I like #1 or #2 better. #1 has that old B&W feel going for it, where as you can't do better with the decrepitness of the bridge in #2. Got more? ;)

Great shots. It always amazed me just how much horsepower can be generated by that piston box (or whatever they call it).

Thanks Michael, no more from yesterday of 765, the way the roads are and the direction the mainline cuts diagonally across the country side it would be almost impossible to chase without violating the numerous little town speed traps so I just choose one spot that I think will make a good visual shot and make the best of it.

Do they still run the one out of Vancouver BC to Lilouette?

I like #2 also but thought I would make a B&W of the previous shot to please the Steam Gods, LOL
