Hi folks, I was determined to capture a better shot of my visiting Blue Jay friend. Lucky for me...he landed on the ground nearby, and I was ready! Think he felt bad about not posing earlier and crapping on my lawn.

OK Mister...hurry up, before I decide to crap again!

Yea I know...how lucky can one get. I figured it'd take days to track him down for a decent shot.

Nice one, James. A BlueJay and no snow...a good sign Spring has finally sprung there. ;-)

This one is really beautiful. The blue feathers are really outstanding, and it's obvious your jays are much prettier than our Scrub Jays.

Terrific color, detail, and light.

Plus, it's a near-perfect pose, as his whole body, including his head, are parallel to your lens.

Nah, our scrub jays aren't as handsome as this.
