These are not brand specific as it does not control zones or ratios, so yes Nikon.

Ahhh, now I see that the control pins on the receiver are of a universal configuration. I did not see the two inner pins in the rear (square) part of the base. Thank you for the clarification.

Could this be used to start recording video remotely? What sort of range does it have? I need to start a T4i recording in church, from within the choir...
