The bugs came out in the sun

Finally some bugs came out. My first try at a butterfly and the jumper. These were hand held shots, next time I will use the tripod. Nikon D5100 with and old manual 105 macro

Nice shots, but very shallow DOF, if you have a flash it will help in your macro by allowing you to shoot at smaller apertures creating a deeper in focus area in your pictures.

I'm seeing quite a bit of chromatic aberration. The first butterfly is the best shot.

Your lens is not recognized by your Nikon camera. I thought all Nikkor lenses communicated Exif info, but maybe not old manual lenses.
I am also surprised by the amount of CA captured.

It is an older manual lens, so the camera does not read it. Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8
