A couple of Snow Owls I photographed in the bird sanctuary , needed to work on the image because they were in a cage , took the wire fences out and tried to give it a bit of natural look....
Hope you like it even they are shot in a cage , but for us it's the only way to see birds that don't exist natural over here....
Image #2:
A griffon vulture , amazing bird with a big wing span, this one was flying free around , guess it was used to his captivity there and stayed....
Image #3:
Pelican swimming freely in the lake there , because they get lots of food they stay there and not take off........;-)

Wonderful images, Fvs! You do so well with birds and insects. And your post-processing left no vestiges of wire fences, something with which we in the film era would have had a real problem.

Stunning captures!! The download on the owls is superb, the eyes are outstanding.
The Vultures feathers fascinate me!
Love the Pelican and the wiggly reflection.

...and that vulture shot...absolutely stunning! Reminds me of my former mother-in-law (may the mice rest in peace).

great shots of the owls Fvs , i am not keen on captive birds ect , but in saying that i have had a change of heart on that due to a story of an extinct wallaby ( i posted yesterday )
which was rediscovered from a collection taken to newzealand in the 1850s
you did a great job of the fence
Nice work, they all look wonderful.
Very Beautiful series. Nicely done!
