I have been hanging around here for quite some time now and since I finally got up enough courage to post a few pictures, I thought I should introduce myself. I take pictures for the pure pleasure it brings me. All of you are waaaay over my head....but (as the old saying goes) "even a blind hog will get an acorn every now and then". So, I plan to learn for all of you. And if my quote didn't let you know just how country I am...I'm sure this picture will. It is a picture of what I have cooking for supper (or at least part of it). They were brought in fresh from the garden & washed by my husband. Now, ladies, that's a good man!!!

Thank you all for the friendly welcome! I plan to be visiting UHH quite a bit and hopefully, getting to know you all better. Ggiaphotos: you are right there is a lot of helpful info floating around this site & I plan to take advantage of it! Ddrum: My husband washes them in big wash tubs at the barn...lots easier than in the kitchen sink!! edwinj: I didn't get back on UHH until after supper...dang you missed it tonight but we've always got something good to eat here!
