Having lived in Wisconsin for over 40 years, I would suggest staying away from the tourist traps. Yes, the Dells have much natural beauty, but the Dells area is like a giant amusement park. If your kids like water parks & cheap trinkets, O.K., otherwise No.

Same for Lambeau Field where all they want is your money to help increase the profits of the wealthiest of all pro-football franchises, including the salaries of overpaid Jocks.

Same for the Harley Museum. Why contribute to the profits of the company that makes the most over-priced motorcycle in the world; over-priced, way too noisy, average quality, and "Cult" oriented.

I suggest visiting Door County, The Milwaukee County Zoo, The Milwaukee Art Museum, the Bayfield, Wisconsin area including The Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, The Indian Head area, Madison, The City of Lakes, and so much more.
