The "takers" bemoan the fact that the goose that laid golden egg stopped laying.

No doubt and the chickens have come home to roost and they are crapping on what's left of our Republic.

As usual, the "Christian" neo-con knuckle-draggers on this board have failed to respond because they know they are really on the wrong side of so many of the issues surrounding the agenda of those financing the Republican party.

well guess I just have to be on the wrong side because I think the government should not spend more than it earns, People who are able should work for a living and everybody in congress needs to read the constitution and understand it, they should also have to live by the laws they pass.

"Christian" seems to be a word Republicans hide behind. Their "christian love" includes a lot of hate.

based on my experience liberal tolerance only extends to those who agree with them

I am a Christian and IF what is said above by Paul Ryan is true then I disagree with his proposal as well. I agree that we need to cut spending and balance the budget. My problem is I see nothing about cutting the money we're handing over to Muslim states, I see nothing about eliminating pork, I see nothing about cutting subsidies, I see nothing about reducing the size of government starting maybe with the IRS. I believe a nation with the resources we have and the wealth we have we can afford to "help" those in need. Note I didn't suggest we do it all for them but we surely can offer aid to those among us who are truly in need of help.

BTW I failed to mention the massive amount of money we're spending on illegals that needs to come to a screeching halt. It seems to me that instead of throwing insults at each other why not at least try to reach some middle ground. I can't believe that both sides don't see a need to cut spending so why not try suggesting some areas you think we can cut.

Coming to any agreement with two sides is difficult, Pepper, but with three parties, nearly impossible. I'm not sure about the exact numbers in the Ryan meme, but this is the gist of it.

the problem I have is I don't see any liberals complaining about the cuts to medicare that obama made with obamacare, but let a conservative do it and well.....

I don't have the answer but we the people have got to stop allowing these politicians from building walls between us. As long as they keep us divided we will never get anywhere. Let me ask you, do you ever hear any of these clowns tell you what they are going to do or at least attempt to do to create some solidarity? No you only hear them blast each other, hell they may as well be posting here on the hog, they'd fit right in. Tell me the last time anyone here change an opinion or even tried to understand the others position. We get exactly what we elect.

What does all of this have to do with Christian Values? To know and to have Christian Values you must first be a Christian. When you use Christian Values to bash Christians and a political party what does that say about you? What the problem could be in this country is that the Left shows little to no tolerance for other peoples values.
