Time to sell some items I have not used in awhile. See a few of my other posts here as well. I'm going to list items separately based on category to avoid confusion. That being said I'm selling (3) items...so if you see the other posts and interested in other things let me know and I will further discount a bundle. I stand behind my sales 100% so you can return if not not satisfied. Items are Canon 50mm 1.4, X-Rite Monitor Calibrator and Flash Rite Light Modifier.

**FREE Shipping to continental United States.

EDIT: Price just lowered to $300 with the hood and original packaging...shipped! First one to secure payment it goes to.

Canon 50mm 1.4 Prime Lens w/Lens Hood $325

Lens is PERFECT in every way. No problems with it at all. Only selling because I'm getting the new Sigma Art 1.4. Includes all of the original packaging and paperwork.

This EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Lens from Canon is a standard length lens featuring superb quality and portability. Its f/1.4 maximum aperture makes it very effective in low light situations and able to provide shallow depth of field focus. Two high-refraction lens elements and new Gaussian optics eliminate astigmatism and suppress astigmatic difference. Its ultrasonic autofocus motor (USM) enables fast, smooth and silent autofocus action and full-time manual focus override allows for the precision of manual focus even in One Shot AF mode.
Standard focal length 50mm lens is effective in a multitude of shooting situations and ideal for day-to-day shooting.
An f/1.4 maximum aperture provides clear imaging in low light situations and shallow depth of field.
Ultrasonic autofocus motor (USM) operation is fast, smooth and virtually silent.

NOTE: This lens sold from manufacturer without a lens hood, I think they are a necessity so I have a Pearstone Lens Hood that will go with this product.

Is there an adapter to mount it on a Nikon DSLR?

I have never done it before as I only shoot Canon, however I know several Photogs that shoot both Manufacturers and do use adapter kits. I did a quick search on Amazon and came up with several option here:

No.

You can use many (most?) Nikon lenses on Canon cameras via adapters. The Canon bayonet mount is larger in diameter especially to allow many other manufacturers lenses to be adapted for use on Canon cameras.

But it doesn't work the other way around... You cannot use Canon lenses on Nikon cameras. No such adapters exist. The lens would not be able to focus to infinity, plus you would not be able to autofocus the lens or control the aperture in any way. That's all done electronically on a Canon lens.

You'll need to get a Nikon lens... there are several good ones. Even many vintage, manual focus Nikon lenses are still usable on many modern Nikon cameras. Or get a Sigma 50/1.4 in Nikon mount.

Just as I suspected. Thanks!
I have an old SLR Nikkor 55mm f/1.2 lens in excellent condition which I hesitate to have machine modified for mounting on my DSLR Nikons, especially since I want to keep the ability to use my film SLR.
I wish an adapter was made for those pre-1970 manufactured prime Nikkor lens. I have several of them.
- Having to manually focus would be okay.
- Losing one or two f stops would not be a concern as they have built-in aperture settings.
I'll look at the Sigma 50/1.4.

I appreciate you clarifying for the poster. I know several people who use Both Manufacturer Bodies (I don't as I mentioned) and do switch lenses often. I never really paid attention to if it was Canon Lenses on a Nikon Body or Nikon to Canon etc... One thing though you said and I bolded above that Canon Lenses cannot work on Nikon bodies...I have found several sites by using a simply Google search that are showing otherwise. To what extent they will work, I do not know, nor did I claim to know. I simply put up a quick link.

Now that being said I do agree with you, at the end of the day if I was shooting Nikon and I did not already have a Canon lens would I buy one? No! I would definitely buy Nikon or Sigma which I agree 100% with your recommendation. The poster, however did not ask what they should buy, they asked do they make adapters. Now...that being said, as I also mentioned, I don't know which adapter if any would work with the EF lens I'm selling nor what would be the limitation.

Pending on what your Budget is, hold off a few weeks till the release of the New Sigma 50 1.4 ART. It will be expensive ~$950, however preliminary testing shows it is going to be extremely sharp. That being said when it is released the current Sigma 50 1.4 will also drop in price abit so you will have (2) excellent choices.
