I don't have any equipment like light stands, strobes, etc. I just do what I can with natural light and Photoshop. This is my first try doing a portrait. My beautiful daughter-in-law was nice enough to humor me and allow me to take her picture.

Like the softness - others will become photonazi's and go paranoid. Without any softboxes and only available light, you did a marvelous job!!

I like this!
Broke a bunch of rules or techniques.

Foam board from Hobby Lobby.
One side white and the other, add foil.
One volunteer to hold and point foam board to reflect light.

IMHO people are the hardest thing to photograph. As a first try with limited equipment you did a mighty fine job. Lucky for you, you had such a beautiful model. Keep at it.
