Is there a camera strap that has storage like the Black Rapid but leaves the tripod mount open so I can move quickly to a tripod?

Check out the "q-strap" on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Quick-Q-Rapid-Camera-Strap-for-Canon-Nikon-sony-FujiFilm-DSLR-Camera-/151019376622?pt=US_Camera_Straps_Hand_Grips&hash=item232974cfee

I use a Really Right Stuff camera plate which has a bottom side lug mounting point. It works with Arca Swiss ball heads. I then use a peak design leash camera strap.

I use this strap, but clip to the camera strap loop mounted on the camera body. Had to do a little switching but not hard.

OpTech. Works great and attaches to the normal strap lug.

The OpTech Utility Sling does what you want. Media holsters and Battery holsters are available to handle your on-strap storage requirements. Great dependability in a true USA made product.

http://www.blackrapid.com/products/fastenr-t1 is a modification for using a BR on a tripod mount.

I do not know about any storage, but for me I am using the BOSSTRAP and it leaves the Tripod opening free for use.

Try this, at Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/BosStrap-Piece-Sling-Strap-Black/dp/B0073N8BD0/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1398081384&sr=8-7&keywords=boss+camera+strap

Attaches where a camera strap is supposed to go, on the side.

Try a search for black rapid tripod attachment. I have seen one for about $20.
Black rapid is a great product. I attach it to
My lens during sports shoots.
