One of 25 beautiful photos.
He really has macro down to a science! It looks like some of his photos are arranged perhaps in a mini studio setup where there is water at the base with objects propped onto/into it and then the critter placed into the scene. Still beautiful and imaginative even if arranged. Others are obviously out of doors. Something to strive for, being that I love photographing that type of subject matter.
Yes, he has mastered macro photography.
wow how did you train the snail lol
WOW! Thanx for posting! This day and time there are so many photos out there it is refreshing to see something so unique for a change.
Noticing he uses backlighting primarily. But what do you think? Is he using reflectors for the natural light? Really expertly balanced fill flash!? Just the fill of the light reflecting off the water? Cameras these days have really phenomenal latitude/dynamic range, but the light is so well balanced, with such great shadow detail, he has to be doing something. I don't think these are "set-up" except for some kind of lighting to balance the ambient light.
Wow, a wonderful gallery. Any info available on what he uses/how he shoots? Great site thanks for sharing. Pat
