I recently got a Nikon D3200 as a Christmas present. I also somehow stumbled across this site and was amazed at the information and knowledge to be found here. I use to dabble in film photograph back in the 1970s while in the US Navy. I have a Pentax K2 at the time. These new DLRSs are a whole new ball game. Lots to learn and fun to be had.

Welcome Gary! Nice shot, looks to me as though you are well on your way. Yes there is a lot of very talented shooters on the Hog. The best part is that you will never be at a lose for help. If you look at the top of the page, you will see the "Search" button or blue print that says Search. you will find a wealth of info there. If you can't find your answers there, just post your question.
Again..."Very nice shot", and welcome. Thanks, Boone

Welcome to the Hog, SpaceCowboy! Your shot of Baxter displays a thoughtful kitty and I'm sure he has nothing but purrs for it. I was a desk jockey and artist/photographer in the AAF in WWII and found that Hog members seem to enjoy it when I share old prints from my service years, as well as other film shots of various subjects. Don't be stingy with your files!
Welcome Gary to Hog with a purfect shot nice one.
