Morels budding up in Kentucky
My favorite Mushroom. I used to tramp through the woods every year in search of them. A nice mess of them fried up is a gourmet meal in itself.

Just coming in here. Will be looking close for the next few weeks. You are right about fine eating.
Try drying the morels in the spring and crushing them with a rolling pin in the fall and putting them on a venison roast with carrots, potatoes, onions and celery to flavor the gravy. Fit for a king. Dave
