I'm entering one of these images into a large juried show, and would like input on which one you think.
Thanks.
Like em all. Cannot you not submit all.
If only one then the sunset. Great work.
Bon chance
I like 1,the tree and the sunlight hitting the cliff face and 2, the flare by the lighthouse adds interest.
They are all nice.
When faced with this question my first question to myself is "which would I frame and hang on the wall of my home.
Without doubt, Muir Woods because of the mood and the ferns in the foreground. Clear wall material for me.
I might tone down some of those highlights in the center of the fern leaves. They tend to come out strong when looking at the full image using download.
Otherwise, I really like that image. But I am a John Muir fan. Never miss public broadcast programs about him.

Thanks. Muir Woods is the one I'm having the most problem with in my mind. The other two may have the most appeal for the general viewer, but this show is an "art" show. I hate that term and thought, but it is what it is.
The first image of Zion is the type of image I've been doing, and showing for several years and is what I've been kind of labeled as doing. The second picture, since we live on Lake Michigan, doesn't have a special subject matter. The third of Muir Woods is something different for me.
Question...
Stretch myself into doing something different, and get out of the comfort zone?
Hard to choose! 3, then 1, then 2.

The first photo needs some clarity and/or an increase in contrast and brightness in my opinion, something to give it more pizzazz. The third is well done but I would submit the second.
Now granted I am not from your area so the subject may be more interesting to me then to those familiar with it. Still, in my subjective view the second has the most impact of the three, nice colors and a fine composition.
Good luck.
The sunset for me. I think I would have chosen the woods if it had been in color.
I am loving the black and white scene in the woods. Its got nice tonal range, and the light on the ferns draws your attention to them. I think the lighting on the mountains in #1 is golden and the darkness of the tree is nice contrast. #2 is a nice sunset with lighthouse but not sure it would stand out against others of the same theme.
No.2 is the one I would enter. Is it HDR? It may be a tad but it stands out and that's what is needed in a competition Good luck.

Missed out the word, sharp.Tad sharp
Number two definitely ,thanks for sharing,
Cally.
My first choice would be #2. But then I'm a lighthouse freak so I may be prejudiced. :-) Nah, it's #2.
For me Muir Woods is superb, look at it then look in it. It kind of tells a story but could also be the opening chapter for great adventures to come. I really would like to be there.
They're all outstanding, but I would enter the third one. I love it in black/white and I love the composition...and it's interesting and beautiful.
