I have this film camera and no longer use it. I have spare batteries, Flash, several cards to go with it, data back. If any one is interested in this camera, they can have it for the cost of me shipping it. Everything works. No lens included as I kept and use them on my Sony. It has been at least five years since I used it, but the camera works fine and I do not know the shelf like of the spare batteries that are in original package . also have manuals for the camera and other items.

Greetings, clarencephn. I was in the same boat you find yourself. The 2CR5 battery in the original package should last several years unopened. The manufacturer's will tell you 10 years but I don't think they'll last that long. You don't say which Sony you purchased. I started with an Alpha 100 & just recently switched to a used Alpha 850 for the full frame sensor. Hate to burst your bubble but, the only items Sony folks seem to be interested in are lenses.

Actually, I am not surprised and the bubble is not burst. But thanks for the thought :). I bought the a550 right after it came out. I want to upgrade to the a99 FF, but I am retired on disability and unless I hit the lottery, I don' see that happening. I just am tired of looking at all the stuff I have for the 7000i. I am probably goin to toss it, since noone seems to want it. I cannot in any ay see myself going back to film. I am not a professional and can't see taking pics that I have to pay to get developed and at least half I won't keep. Thanks for the response. I didn't really expect any answer at all. Even though I was giving it away for shipping cost. (I read UHH daily}

I still have my Maxxum 7xi...use some of the lenses on my Sony A65. Won't part with it, but have donated a couple others that I bought to get the lens that was being sold with them.
