I have had this lens for 2 weeks now and have shot a load of photos. I can honestly say that this lens is unbelievably sharp. The few photos I got out of focus was my doing, motion blur. Shooting aperture priority at 2.8 it is great and by the time I get to 5.6 it is perfection. I absolutely love this lens. The only possible downside might be in shooting portraits. It may be too sharp and show all the flaws. Highly recommended lens. It is built like a tank and somewhat heavy compared to the all plastic lens but the images are superb. Just as good, slower focusing, if not better than the 60mm 2.8G at half the price used and there is an aperture ring and limit switch. Paid $250 for mine in mint condition.

I have it also and I love it!!!! I ended up buying the 30mm also. Love them both and matched to my low light sensitive Sony 5N it is the perfect formula.

Sorry, I was mistaken. I was taking about the SIGMA 60,30mm in Sony mounts. Great!

I use my 60mm 2.8D on a Nikon D300.

For those not familiar with Nikon lenses, this is a macro lens with a 1:1 reproduction ratio.
