I flew the First Southwest Flight out of St. Louis after 9/11 Restrictions were lifted...
The attendant kept us in stitches the entire trip to Phoenix and even the Nervous on Board were totally oblivious to their fears..... And I have had several Southwest Attendants do similar things since...

I fly SW quite a bit and some of the attendants are really good stand ups. I gave heard snow pretty funny stuff over the years.

Flight attendant right after we landed and were taxiing towards the gate: "Please remain seated while we taxi to the gate. In the entire history of this airline we have never had a passenger reach the gate before the airplane". These funny take-offs of the straight speech make people pay attention!

Several years ago I flew into the "Old" Indianapolis Airport, it was a terrible winter day with about 10" of snow on the ground and snowing like the devil...
We landed safely and were taxiing (????IS THAT A WORD>>>) . It seemed like we were wandering around for a long long time... Suddenly the Pilot came on and said..
"We are sorry for the delay, but I lost a bet with my Co Pilot and had to take the scenic route before I could arrive at the gate... HE, is a nature nut, and wanted to see how the Snow Geese were doing... sorry for the inconvenience...
