The Problem with the US Government in a Nut Shell....
But with Reid wary of exposing Democratic senators facing tight re-election contests in some conservative and Western states to politically risky votes and the Republican-run House showing no appetite to restrict guns anyway people aren't holding their breath waiting for proposed gun restrictions to reach the Senate floor before Election Day.
THIS happens to be about Harry Reid, but ANY politician's name could be used.......

And Amy,,,, the very very sad thing is that when an Honest, and I mean Really Honest man or woman gets elected, they very seldom stay more than one term... Probably (my opinion) because they get so disgusted with what they have to put up with that they just give it up..

Amy, did I tell on the forum (getting old and forget) that I was at Smithville for the BiG BlueGrass Festival a few years back and was going to have Breakfast so we rode on to Sparta and, of course being from Ill. had no idea where to eat... Lucky for us there was a police man parked in a Mall parking lot.. We pulled up by him and asked him where was a good place to eat. He started to tell us and then said.. Just follow me I will take you there...
We (all 8 bikes) followed him and stopped at a very nice little diner (Can't remember the name) went in, Offered to purchase a cup of Coffee for the Patrolman, which he accepted.
We all got seated and were served, after the meal I was paying and said to the cashier... It was very nice of the Policeman to bring us here...It was really good food. She grinned and said..."The owner is his mom" lol
