Nikon also has a very good app - Manual Reader, or something like that. After you get that, you can download any manual and keep it on your tablet or phone.

Jerry, I have it. It's great, but I prefer to keep my manuals for all my cameras (Nikon, Canon, Panasonic, Yashica and Minolta) on the same app. In this case, that happens to be Adobe Reader.

Me, too. Many cameras no longer come with a paper manual. That must save the companies a fortune. I guess that explains why modern cameras are so inexpensive. :D

I left my D7100 manual at Children's Hospital after a long day, and I have not been able to recover it from the lost & found. Any recommendations on a replacement or getting another copy without Kinko's being involved would be greatly appreciated.

I ordered Nikon D7100 for Dummies at the local bookstore. It has everything the manual has and a lot more. Has been very useful to the point where I don't refer to the manual anymore. Just food for thought.

When I get the "Dummies" books, I either order from Amazon or go to a town where no one knows me. :D

Ha. You must live in a really small town. I never thought about it. I figure when my pictures turn out better than those around me I'll just pull out my book and say, "It's all in here my friend". I will have to tell wife this one because I bought Nikon D3200 for Dummies at her request because she will not read the manual nor has she opened the new one. She wants someone to show her what setting to put her camera on for a particular shot. She will not trial and error but her shots turn out pretty good because she just pops away at anything. I try to compose and she'll take 50 to my one and just laugh and say "They're digital...capital D for deleting the ones I don't like". She's been driving me nuts for 25 years but I have been driving her nuts also. She's a Bama fan and I am an Auburn fan. Enough said.

I downloaded the D7100 manual from Nikon when I was researching which camera I wanted. You can do this and just print what pages you need along the way.
