My index finger went numb taking this and it hurt like a bugger when it started thawing out. Really? Is this April?

Thank you, Sugar. I appreciate your kind comment. It's always worth it, isn't it? Even if I don't get the shot, I get the experience and it just kind of makes my morning. :-)

This is the sort of thing that finds its way into galleries and the like.

Sandra, I could just say a very nice photo, but I'm going to add why I feel it is.
The attention to the vertical, and horizontal perspective; good white highlight control; a good grey scale to the photo; a nice flowing appearance to the water all make it a very nice photo.

The original shot went to 90 at 500px, but I still felt that it could have used a little tweaking. Here is the edit I came up with. Crop, verticals, selective sharpening, selective lighting...

The bridge has lost some of it's character without a beginning and the end portions. I would have liked to have seen those areas lightened some. There is an un-describable object right below the bridge that is drawing attention.

That is a very wobbly fishing dock. LOL I try to take shots from there sometimes, but I have to hold very still. :-)

Okay…I'll try what you said.

Someone suggested via pm that I lose the bridge. Thoughts?
