My first attempt at taking shots of the Blood Moon on 4/14-15/2014

I took this shot with my Canon Rebel t31, using a ISO of 800 and an f/stop of 5.6 using a 300mm lens, it was the largest telephoto lens I have. I wanted something to show contrast and the moon was behind our tree. After taking it, I noticed that the leaves of the tree made the moon look like it had a "Fox" face looking down on the earth. I know the quality isn't very good, But I really like this picture and wanted to share it.

Welcome to UHH. Not bad for a first attempt. Congratulations, looking forward to seeing more. You can zoom up the picture now and it will be even closer to you. With my moon attempts, I found that if I took the picture and then zoomed, the moon wasn't as blurred, I'm not the most steady camera user. LOL So now I just zoom pictures and then save the closer pictures also. Thanks for sharing.
