Thank You, so do I. Unfortunately my son and his wife just moved from Troy, Michigan to North Carolina and had to leave this beauty behind. I am so glad I was up there last spring to capture these at their peak.

Thank You, all. I always thought of Magnolias as Southern Trees and was quite surprised to see this huge beauty just northwest of Detroit, Michigan. Hoping last nights hard freeze (26 degrees) didn't kill off all the trees in full bloom here right now.

Thanks for sharing! I've never seen so many blooms on a "Tulip Tree" (as we call them in the South). That's absolutely gorgeous.

Beautiful and love that color. I had maybe only 10 blooms on my Japanese Magnolia here in central Ohio this year. Yours is magnificent!! Thanks for sharing.
