I have elements 12, and I have a few pics with moire patterns. Cool if it was 1960 but not so great today.
Can I remove moire with elements 12? if so how, Ive searched the site but no info about elements. I spent a lot of time looking on line but no definitive answer: Thanks
sorry, what is moire?? Not familiar with the term although I may know what you are referring to. I am sure there are others that are also confused.

There are several ways to remove moire patterns.
You can use the Despeckle or Gaussian Blur filters. There are several settings to experiment with when using these filters. Since you are blurring the picture, some detail will be lost.
If the pattern is because you scanned a picture, you can rotate the picture on the scanner to reduce the pattern from scanning and then use your software to re-rotate the picture to correct it.
Also, sometimes the pattern is really bad when you look at the picture at less than 100%, but at 100% there is no pattern. I would determine what the final output (screen, web, 4x6, etc.) will be and adjust for that. The more you adjust for the pattern, the more detail that you will lose.

We often write it without the accent on the e, but the correct spelling is moiré.

You can remove "moire" in my PP, which is Capture One 7.
Give that a go.

more-AAA accent on the long "A".
Zoom in to make sure it does not disappear.
