Challenge: "Flare" 4/14 - 16

Hope Salt is OK. She is our host for "Flare". Not totally sure what she had in mind, but until she confirms it, I'll get us started and assume that at least part of her challenge idea was the use (and maybe avoidance) of lens flare. Got any examples on how you've used lens flare? Or how it messed up one of your shots?

Flare directing eye right to the subject
In a line with the lines of the building
Emphasizing the plane and adding a little "flare" to a shot that could have been just an airplane dot in a huge blue sky.
