It's all good....until you get to the processing and find out everything can be fixed....except what you did. I've had many a day like that.....do what I did...get a mantra...."progress today, perfection tomorrow"
thanks for the laugh.

We all have to start somewhere. Take your time, and learn from your mistakes. With digital camera's it so easy to get the correct exposure by looking at your replay and histogram. It also works with sharpness, make sure that your eyepiece is adjusted to your vision or if you are looking at the screen on the back of the camera that is a little harder, but most camera's you can in large the image that you just took to check the focus. Make sure you are using a tripod and a high enough shutter speed to make your images. You will get the hang of it in no time. Good luck and keep on shooting. I hope these suggestions will help.

bird shot with reflection cool the only trouble with your photos is you need a 300 to 500mm lenses to get close to fill the frame but shooting with this glass require a steady hand and even at 500th of sec you can be shaky.

You don't seem to have much trouble finding good shots, too bad their a little blurry. Take a few pics in "auto mode" Look at them on your "live view" and see what the camera chose for your settings and go from there. Your right though, they always look better on your "live view". The blurry pics must be from Camera shake. When your ready to take a pic, breath in and as your slowly exhailing, snap the pic. SQUEASE the shutter release, don't push it! Hope this helps

"make sure that your eyepiece is adjusted to your vision"

Thanks...that is some simple but great advise.......I have been using my right eye to focus the lens............my right eye is almost blind.......... my left eye is damn near 20/20......I will start focusing with the left eye...........no wonder the pics were out of focus......My next purchase is a patch for my right eye............ on second thought that would cost $40.00 at the camera store............I'll go to WallMart and buy a roll of duct tape for 3.95...... paste it to my right eye and that should fix the focus problem!!

Once again..lmao!!! BTW spend the 40 dollars...if you use duct tape, it will take your skin off when you peel it off and then you will need to spend money at the doctors!
