Good point ebbote.
Maybe that's why many of us don't like buffet style.

Wow, Vultures in urban areas , thought they lived in Africa and South America , never thought they would settle in Texas ...but as I see now they are common there ....
Be have crows, big ones, that's why I asked , because from a distance they look similar..

Fons, vultures are common all over the U.S. not just Texas.
They are about 4 times larger than a crow, luckily they only
eat dead things, mostly road kill.
I live in a rural area about 25 miles outside of Houston, we
even have bald eagles in the area.
