Very nice series of shots, I always love pic's of aircraft. Thanks for posting these.
A wonderful set of images of magnificent machines.
Great rendition and unique perspective...well done. ;-)
As you can tell by my avatar I love WWII aircraft. I love the pictures but I think they are over cooked. Too much HDR in my opinion. Cheers.

Wonderful shots. It's good that you were able to get them without crowds of people surrounding them. Thanks for posting them.
I agree with you. I thought they were drawings.

The hdr-affect, coupled with the cloud cover, really make the planes pop! Nicely done.

Nice photo's - I like the perspective and the finished results...
My father flew the 24 out of Italy - I've had the opportunity to climb around inside of them and see what they are made of... Men of steel and airplanes of metal...
I really like the interior shot of the B-24.
Way back in the 90's, I was waiting for my escort to arrive at the Boeing plant in Seattle. Standing there next to the Boeing Field runway when I hear this amazing roar as a B-24 takes off and stately flies over the hills. Never forgot that.
Wow! It's very rare to see a P-51B still in flying condition!
Thanks for sharing!

Old War Birds? Them birds done went and lost all their feathers! But I like them anyhow, even if they were before my time... by a couple of years... more or less... depends on how you count a couple of years.. I guess...

I've actually had a ride in that very B-24. My dad was the Armorer on one in WWII flying missions out of Italy.
