If you knew me you would say to yourself, Why would I ask Dennis about the name of a flower. I had no idea so I asked my loving bride who told me it is a Ranunculus. I had to look it up and sure enough that is what it looks like to me too. She works for a world wide seed company so I should have believed her.

Thanks for looking and for the nice comment. I used a Nikon 105 f2.8 Macro lens on my D800.

Oh how funny. I have a 3100 and I just bought that lens.
Boy was it expensive. I am waiting for B&H to send it.
It's on back order so it will be a few weeks.
I feel like a little kid waiting for xmas.
