Was cloudy till about 30 minutes ago. Went out and ran back to get the camera.:):) The clouds parted!!!

Great news Erv...I too went out just moments ago and the haze has cleared up a bit. I grabbed my camera took a several shots. Haven't processed them yet. But yours is darn right nice. I'm glad the Gods parted the clouds for you.

Hi Margo. I use a NikonD300s and had the 28-300 on it. But if I can see it on the 15th, I will have the 300 f2.8 on a tripod. I have yet to get a shot of the eclipse on the moon. It is always cloudy when it happens.:(

It is a big jump from my film days for sure. I don't think I had but a few keepers back then. And the longest lens was a 200mm. But now it is fun to play with and doesn't cost to try different settings.:):)

I too went out and got some shots with my 150-500mm and a 1.4 TC. Not good I think That the TC was killing me. I will try tomorrow. But the 15 its suppose to rain so I may miss It. dam!!!
