But wondering if I can change One Shot, Al Servo and AI. I can do this on my T4I.

Many happy SX50 users on this site!
Some options are available only in certain modes. Here is a link to the manual, which is also on the CD that came with the camera. Per a UHH recommendation, I was able to get a printed copy free from Canon by saying "pretty please?" :)

Me too love my SX50! Bought it as a backup and everyday camera to supplement my 7D.
