Sci-Fi? No, Just a Special Kind of Printer

Again, this seems like either sci-fi or April Fools. It's a printer that moves along the page, printing. It's not available yet, though.

Sounds like a plotter, they've been around for years.

I see it printing across the page but... the demo ends. does it drop down a line on its on? Do you have to place it on the paper for the next line? Good ideal but for $180.00?

I have no idea, but when the new and improved version comes out (if ever), we'll know.

Yes Jerry, I want a Zuta! Just what I need...I won (on DealDash) a robotic vacuum cleaner and haven't hooked it up yet. 8-) 8-) Thank you for sharing, you have the best sites!

Funny, in the video, you see the X axis but not the Y. Guess that is what the $400K is for. Nice idea. Wonder how it works during a earthquake.

Yeah, but not in that size. Plotters are huge and heavy.

Looks great if you only want to print one line. Maybe it will be the twitter printer of choice.

Just kidding. Some of what is being developed today is beyond imagination. I saw an article yesterday that talked about a 3d printer that can print edible food. Star Trek comes to life.
