But this site is already broken-in and I know all the nut-cases that are here. Going to the other site would mean giving up the enemies that I've make here, ones I know and love so dearly, for others that I don't know. Besides, I might get my feelings hurt there.

I absolutely hate the claims that the environmentalists and tree huggers so frequently make that "xxxx" increases the chance of death. Death and taxes are the only sure things in this world; life is 100% fatal.
Please, at least be somewhat accurate when making these outlandish claims and explain the possibility of a shortened life, with accurate statistics and forecasts!
I always liked the Who....''I can see for miles'' great song.....just sayin!
It is for this reason that the TParty wants to get rid of the EPA!

I don't how many people smoke cigarettes but that is a form of self inflected air pollution. I have COPD after years of smoking cigarettes. I have since given up cigarettes but have seen others with COPD who still smoke. I didn't get COPD from indoor/outdoor Air Pollution and I am not sure that you can but am sure that there are millions of people smoking in the world. If someone is going to complain about air pollution, take the cigarette out of your mouth first.
One of the truest statements ever posted.
Smoking leads to more early deaths than all other self indulging habits -OK- alcohol is right there o top too.
Now let us look at what has been done so far in cleaning up the air here in the USA - all one has to do is compare LA & Oakland, CA today compared to 50 yrs ago - much cleaner air today and the population and autos are 5 fold more at least.
I just looked at the article and the photos in it and the remind me of how we photographers wait for the best weather to photo landscapes - this photographer wanted to show the worst so he waited for his perfect shot to make his point.
