If you're implying there is any sort of suppression of this story here in the u.s., just check a normal site like drudge.com and you'll see several entries on this subject....it's all over the place....

Well,,,,, I guess you might be right,,,, there were at least 5 Google Pages with articles.... But a great deal of those were basically if not Fully copy/paste of some of those that I mentioned....

One thing I did not find, and that does not mean they were not there, was any articles by the NYT, or the LA Times, or various MAIN LINE papers and magazines .

As for the person who said something about Drudge... it seems to me that Drudge, for the most part, just gives links to other media's articles....

I have been following this story and it is disgraceful. Why does the Bureau of Land Management have an armed force? Why is the FBI assisting in terrorizing this farmer?

From what I heard yesterday: The Federal Government is seizing his cattle for grazing on State lands. The excuse is to protect the desert turtle. In another part of the country the protected turtle has grown so quickly, the same Federal Government recently captured 1, 000 of them and then euthanized them. The State of Nevada says the farmer paid his grazing fee but the Feds claim he owes it to them.

A group of farmers from southern Utah were going to go to the farmers land and join the protest but the Governor of Utah told them that if they go they should be prepared to come home in body bags.

None of this makes any sense.

In the south west, it seems the Feds control a lot of land ( look at the maps.

Perhaps if the Feds took 50% + of NY, NJ, CT, ILL, OH, CA the US would be a better place?

I think the FEDs should clean up D.C.

Check to see how much Western land Ted Turner controls. Not that I have a problem with it. If I had his money I'd do the same. As far as the FED's cleaning up D.C. you can forget about that. Who's going to cut off their own paycheck? The only changes in D.C. will be more corruption until the taxpayers erect the gallows.

The fight involves a 600,000-acre area under BLM control called Gold Butte, near the Utah border. The vast and rugged land is the habitat of the protected desert tortoise, and ranchers whose cattloe graze there must pay fees. Bundy, a descendant of Mormons who settled in Bunkerville more than 140 years ago, claims an inherent right to graze the area and casts the conflict as a states' rights issue. He said he doesn't recognize federal authority on land that he insists belongs to Nevada.

BLM spokeswoman Kirsten Cannon said agents on Saturday and Sunday rounded up 134 of an estimated 900 trespassing cattle in a vast 1,200-square-mile area of rangeland northeast of Las Vegas and the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Cannon said the roundup was a last resort and blamed Cliven Bundy for "inflammatory statements," including vows to fight and characterizations of the cow removal as a range war.

"Mr. Bundy has been in trespass on public lands for more than 20 years," Cannon said, adding that he owes the federal government some $1.1 million in unpaid grazing fees.

The problem here is that any land the Federal Government owns is the peoples land. We own it. How can they force this guy to stop using public land? Interviews with the locals have all indicated the land in question is State land, also owned by the people.

The Feds will retreat but after everyone leaves and it is dead quiet they will swoop in, cut off cell communication, restrict airspace and do their dirty deeds. They are like locusts that consume anything in their path.

Dirty Harry (Reid) has his hand prints all over this one. I believe he is probably the most corrupt person ever to hold a senate seat.

Take some time to do a bit of research. Check out any connections between these entities.

Rory Reid - Son of Harry. Lawyer representing...
ENN - Chinese solar energy company and the possibility that they want that land for a solar factory.

Rory and Harry will both benefit if a deal can be worked out to get that to happen. Cliven stands in the way.
