Thank you for the cartoon, pounder35. Don't know if this is a picture of college seniors or high school seniors, but I do know firsthand that education won't always get you a good job. Schools and other marketing departments have done a good job with that belief.

Elementary school, high school, or college. With the dumbing down of the education system there's not a lot of difference. :roll:

With a REAL education you can get a good job. Companies are always looking for people who are schooled properly for their needs.

I agree. The problem these days is getting a REAL education. Most courses I've taken at the college level involved instructors that knew less than I did about a particular subject. This involved electronics, robotics, and programmable logic controls. We had probably at least $250,000 in brand new lab equipment and the instructor had no idea how to use any of it. So I get with a couple of guys and we start "playing" with it. The instructor kind of freaked out and asked what the hell we were doing. I told him we were working with what was listed in the curriculum. Once he realized we weren't going to damage his expensive toys he left us alone and shut himself back in his office.
