Signs 5 year contract. Will he be able to shut his mouth long enough for his guests to get a word in edgewise?? :?

I haven't watched either of them much, so I guess I don't care.

I very much enjoy Colbert; I think he is a gifted satirist who has developed a greatly entertaining stage persona. I am not sure, however, that he was the best choice for a late night talk show where the primary goal is usually to provide celebrities with some air time to promote their latest project. In my view, that format seems to be a waste of his comedic talent.

Yes he is funny and talented.
All I am saying is that I would like to hear what his quests are trying to say without Colbert cutting them off.

Limbaugh is annoyed, so I am in favor of the move.

I agree with you. I watch the Colbert Report religiously every night. I will miss that persona.I especially like his interviews. He did a terrific interview with Maurice Sendak (Where the Wild things Are etc) before he died.

Bill O'Reilly may be one of the first. He and Colbert seem to be able to play off each other's verbal remarks very well.

I cant believe that this subject is being discussed! Obviously a lot of people have a lot of free time on their hands, and then to throw O'Reilly and Limbaugh into the fray without even a mention of Obamas' opinion. (I am sure this will bring more comments.....)
WHO CARES !
The media has put the spin on it and all the sheep are following along.

O'Reilly has appeared on Colbert and the Daily show. Colbert auctioned of O'Reilly's microwave for veteran's charity and they both signed it. It appears to me they may disagree, but get along.
