New word needed?

I recently had to fill a form in that required my religious beliefs. They wouldn't accept 'Jedi' as a religion and this got me thinking as to what category I actually came under. So my question to the literati of UHH is this:-
I am not an atheist, as I believe in a God.
I am not an agnostic, as I believe that my God exists and is knowable.
I am not a member of any organised religion and don't want to be.
So what word (keep it clean please) covers people like me?

You are non-affiliated. How far you carry your belief is up to you. What do you base your belief of God on, ie, the bible? Do you think of yourself as a Christian? A Muslim, etc. If Christian do you believe Jesus is who he claims to be? How you see God depends on how you see your relationship to God.

Why not just "Christian" providing that's what you are? It covers all the versions of Christianity.

Thank you so much for your invaluable advice, I hadn't realised that this was a photographic web site. That explains why there are all those photo thingies in the other sections. I must be more careful in future.

As regards to beliefs, no I don't believe that Jesus was the son of God, nor do I believe in the Bible. I also don't believe in the eating of flesh and drinking blood as practiced by the Catholic Church. This would probably preclude me from any organised religions even if I wished to join, and I don't feel that Christian is a suitable covering name. Hence my initial question.

I realy don't see what your religious beliefs have anything to do with anyone else. That is a wholly personal matter. If I were faced with the same question I would either leave the form blank or write "Nil" or "None".

I call myself a transcendentalist. I feel that covers me pretty well as my beliefs are along the lines of yours. So I am a transcendentalist druid. Works for me.

Thanks for all your input I must admit that I had to look up the word 'Deist' as I hadn't encountered it before but that would appear to answer my original question. As for being a 'transcendentalist druid' I couldn't make that fit in the questionnaire box, or remember how to spell it and I'm allergic to mistletoe!
